Private Lessons

Private lessons are the best way to receive a focused and personalized music education. Working one-on-one with our students allows us time to set goals and create lesson plans that are tailored to each student’s needs and preferences. Our private lessons are generally held once a week, in either half-hour or hour-long sessions, and are open to students of all ages!

By far our most popular instrument, the guitar is great for ages 7 and up. Whether you want to rock out on the electric guitar or strum chords on the acoustic, we have a teacher who’s right for you. Beginning through advanced lessons available in all styles.
We offer both traditional piano as well as contemporary lessons. Great for all ages. Whether it’s classical music you’d like to learn or you just want to play along with your favorite pop songs, we can help you achieve your goals.
Unlock your voice with our awesome vocal lessons! Perfect for all ages, our voice lessons are meant to be fun, inspirational, and challenging all at the same time. All styles and skill levels are welcome. We’ll provide you with the techniques and exercises necessary to properly use your voice as an instrument.
With only four strings, the bass can be as easy or as hard as you want to make it! We offer bass lessons for all styles. In addition to standard bass lessons, we help students with band, orchestra, and jazz band assignments.
With drumming you’ll learn to be the heartbeat of any band and explore a variety of rhythms that differentiate between genres. We’ll introduce you to the rudiments of drumming and how they can be used in modern music.
We have the absolute best banjo lessons in the state! Banjo is often taught incorrectly in a way that mimics the guitar. At Alpine, we offer true banjo lessons taught by true banjo players. Both the 3-finger bluegrass style banjo as well as old-time “clawhammer” banjo are available.
Fun fun fun! The ukulele is great for all ages, and is the perfect travel companion for musicians on the go. We offer traditional ukulele lessons, but we also suggest it as a good starting point for prospective guitar students who don’t quite have the hand strength developed just yet. With a little practice, you’ll be strumming along with your favorite tune in no time.
We’re excited to announce that our options now include violin and fiddle lessons! The violin is a versatile instrument that comes in a wide variety of sizes, which makes it a great choice for students of all ages! Private lessons are a great way to tackle those difficult orchestra assignments. Or if you’re more interested in more of a bluegrass feel, learn to play in the style of the fiddle!
Performance Coaching
We provide performance coaching for children and adults, actors, singers, musicians, and public speakers. We’ll help you fine-tune your skills and find the confidence you need when you take the stage.
